1. Introduction

• By participating in this Promotion, you agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions set out below. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not participate in this Promotion.

• Prizes do not incur any tax inclusions and cannot be exchanged for cash
• The Visa Promotion (“Promotion”) is presented  by OFFLIMIT COMMUNICATIONS, PTY LTD , with its registered address Ground Floor, Block B, 34 Impala Rd, Chislehurston, Sandton, 2196 and with registration number 2016/522800/07 (“Organizer”). All participants of the Promotion shall be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:

    • Make them accessible (website, app, print)
    • Archive old versions for transparency
  • Monitor Compliance:
    • Ensure business practices align with new terms.

2. Promotion Period

2.1. The Promotion will run from the 16th of May 2025 up to 30th June 2025 at 23:59 CAT time zone ("the Promotional Period"). No entries received after midnight on the 30th of June 2025 will be accepted.

2.2. The Promotion Period may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the Organizer.

3. Eligibility Requirements

3.1. All Participants in the Promotion (“Participants”) must, at the time of entering the Promotion:

3.2. Be a natural person and be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age;

3.3. Be a citizen and/or legal resident of the Republic of South Africa;

3.4. Be in possession of a valid South African Identity Document, resident/work permit and/or Driver’s License; 

3.5. Be residing or be present in South Africa for the duration of the Promotional Period and for the period during which the prize draws and the delivery or collection of the prize/s takes place;

3.6. Participation in the Promotion excludes directors, members, partners, promotional and advertising agents, merchandisers, employees or consultants of the Promoter, or any third parties involved in the execution of the Promotion, either directly or indirectly (including but not limited to their agencies, promoters and participating stores of the Promotion)  as well as the members of the immediate family (being spouses, life partners, parents, children, brothers, sisters, fathers and/or mothers) business partner or associate of any of the aforesaid persons;

3.7. Have a Visa card; and

3.8. Have an active Woolworths Rewards Card (hereinafter referred to as the “WRewards Card”).

4. Entry Mechanism

4.1. To enter into this Promotion and stand a chance to win a Prize, participants must do the following: “Pay with your Visa card 2 times or more  and swipe your WRewards Card during the Promotion Period to stand a chance to Win Disney’s Lilo & Stitch inspired prizes” at any Woolworths (Pty) Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “Woolworths”) retail stores based in Johannesburg, Durban and/or Cape Town.

4.2. Participants must keep their till slip as proof of purchase. 

5. Description of Prize/s:

5.1. Participants stand a chance to win  1 (one) of 10 (ten) Disney Lilo & Stitch inspired Hampers to the value of R15 000.00 (Fifteen Thousand Rand).

6. Prize Exclusions

6.1. Winners will accept the prize as is and at their own risk. 

6.2. Promotional images are merely a representation of the prize and the actual prize may vary.

6.3. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any of the prizes for a different prize of similar value. 

6.4. Any risks in relation to the prizes (such as loss, theft or damages) will pass to the winner once the prize has been collected/accepted and/or signed for by the winner. The Promoter will not be responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged prize and no replacements will be made.

6.5. Prizes are not transferrable or exchangeable and may be forfeited or be the subject of a separate draw or be allocated to another winner at the Promoters' discretion.  Winners are allowed however to pass their prize onto a friend/family member if they wish not to take it themselves.

6.6. All prize finalists will be subject to a verification process which may include them to share their proof of purchase. Winners will be confirmed only once the verification process has been completed.

6.7. All prize finalists will be need to supply a copy of their South African identity Document, Driver’s license and/or permanent residency permit, proof of residential address, completed finalist form and any other relevant documents to complete the verification process.

7. Winner’s selection methodology 

The prize winners (“Winners”) will be drawn on the 4th of July 2025 through a random draw, conducted by an independent auditor and the Organizer at Woolworths:

7.1. All entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges who will short-list the valid entries. The judging panel will then conduct an audited random draw to select a total of 10 (ten) of potential winners on 4 July 2025. The Organizers’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

7.2. The Winner will receive an official email from Woolworths verifying their reward an a call by a respective from the Organizer to inform them that they have won the Prize .

7.3. The details of the Winner will be sent from the Woolworths to the Organizer who will get in touch with the Winner to provide the prize and coordinate the prize and rsvp confirmations via a link shared directly to their emails. 

7.4. Winner must complete and submit required consents and forms (for themselves and 3 their companions) via email within 48 hours of notification. 

7.5. If a Winner cannot be reached after 3 (three) attempts within the first 48 (forty-eight) hours, Organizer reserves the right to conduct a redraw. The initial winner forfeits their right to the prize in such cases and a back up winner will be contacted and this process will be repeated in each region, namely Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town

7.6. If the Organizer (whether directy or through their agencies) are unable to contact or reach a potential winner on his or her eMail address registered on their Woolworth reward card used to enter into this Promotion after drawing his or her entry for whatever reason within 48 (forty-eight) hours from the date of first notification as set out in these Terms and Conditions or if a winner forfeits a Prize for any reason, or if a person is not eligible to enter into this Competition, or if a potential winner fails the verification process after drawing his/her entry for whatsoever reason or if a potential winner or official winner fails to provide any required information within the timelines stipulated or if a winner refuses to accept the Prize or refuses or fails to sign and send to the Organizer the acknoweldgement of receipt of the Prize, then such person will immediately forfeit their chance to win the Prize or the Prize and will be immediately disqualified from this Promotion and an alternate potential winner from all remaining eligible entries (up to 3 (three) alternate potential winners will be permitted) will be drawn. If the alternate potential winner/s are disqualified for whatever reason, the applicable Prize will not be awarded and the Organizers will decide what to do with the unawarded Prize at their sole and absolute discretion. 

7.7. Prize delivery costs will be borne by Organizer.

7.8. Woolworths will notify the winner via email, while Organizer will coordinate the prize delivery

8. Winner Responsibilities and Indemnity

8.1. The Prize delivery can only commence once the Winner has been identified and  their consent has been received in full.

8.2. The Winner accepts the Prize at his/her own risk and neither Organizer nor Visa will not be liable for any costs incurred by the Winner in claiming their Prize. Organizer and Visa cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury, or loss of property experienced because of winning, accepting and/or utilizing Prize.

8.3. All Participants and the Winner, as the case may be, indemnify Visa, Organizer, Woolworths and their affiliates, officers, personnel, agents and directors, against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this Promotion as a result of any act or omission, otherwise on the part of Visa and/or use of the Prizes, except for damages and/or losses caused by Organizer’s gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

9. Publicity and Consent

9.1. Participants of this promotion are voluntarily providing their personal information to the Organizer, its associated agencies and the third-party service providers running the Promotion in conjunction with the Organizer.

9.2. By entering this Promotion, participants authorise the Organizer to collect, store and use (not share) personal information of participants for communication or statistical purposes. Participants are entitled to decline any marketing communication and inform the Organizer in writing should the participant wish to be removed from all communication.

9.3. By entering this Promotion, the participant consents that the Organizer may use names and images taken of the winners/participants for publicity purposes, without any further remuneration being payable to the winner.  All promotional material will become the sole property of the Organizer.  However, the participant/winner has the right to decline participating in any promotional activity or to object to these images being used.

10. Termination of the Promotion

If required as a result of changes in legislation or if deemed necessary for any other reason, Organizer reserves the right to terminate this Promotion immediately and without notice.  In the event of such termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this Promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against Organizer, Visa, Woolworths, their agents and/or promoters.

11. Data Privacy: 

11.1 All personal information of the participants will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”) and shall be subject to Visa’s Privacy Policy found at https://www.visa.co.za/legal/privacy-policy. By entering into this Competition, participants acknowledge and understand that: (a) it is mandatory for all participants to provide their personal information in order to participate in this Competition failing which the participants will not be able to enter into the Competition; (b) the participants’ personal information shall be used for the purposes of processing their entry into this Competition and additional purposes as detailed in to Visa’s Privacy Policy found at https://www.visa.co.za/legal/privacy-policy (c) Visa and its affiliates (including Visa subsidiaries,  and it’s ventures) may contact the participants via email, SMS, social media platforms and through other platforms to deliver marketing communications regarding their products and promotional activities, subject to the participant’s prior consent and in accordance with the provisions of POPIA; (d) they hereby consent to Visa transferring the participants’ personal information outside the Republic of South Africa. Any data transfers to countries that do not offer an adequate level of protection are subject to appropriate safeguards in accordance with the POPIA, to guarantee that participants’ personal information is adequately protected, including standards.  [only applicable if competition is open to under 18, if not please delete] Personal information of persons under the age of 18 shall only be processed with the prior consent of a competent person such as the person’s parent or guardian. 

11.2 The Organizers may require the winners to complete and submit an information disclosure agreement and indemnification to enable the Organizers to ensure compliance with these Terms and Conditions and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Should any winner refuse or be unable to comply with this rule for any reason, such a winner will be deemed to have rejected the Prize and it shall revert back to the Organizer. 

12. Governing Law  and Final Decision

The terms and conditions for the Promotion shall be governed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to conflict of laws.

The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the Promotion.
